We have a great line-up for you all this month, including the return of some of your favorite acts.  We have MYLES LOUD on Tuesday and Friday nights.  KAROAKE with STEVE SMITH on Wednesdays.  Guitar maestro NEVADA SMITH is playing before Myles on Fridays January 6^th, 20^th and 27^th.

Saturday, January 7^th will feature “A TASTE OF MONGELLO’S”.  Come out and try samples of our NEW MENU which will debut on January 16^th.  Get a 2-course dinner for ONLY $10 per person.  This night will also feature the highly-anticipated return of THE CONSECUTONES featuring Michael, Jimmy & Jeff.  The Consecutones will also be performing on Monday, January 16^th and MICHAEL ANGELO will be filling in for Myles on Friday, January 13^th.

Starting on Thursday January 12^th, we are featuring ASSISTED LIVING: THE MUSICAL.  This fantastic show which the Naples Daily News called “Hilarious” features the duo of Compton & Bennett taking you through life at Pelican Roost, a fictional retirement community.  For only $29.95, you can enjoy the Show and a 3-Course dinner.  Call for more details.

On Saturday, January 21^st, we have DAVID MORAN performing his tribute to ELVIS PRESLEY.  David is a nationally touring Elvis impersonator who will make you feel like a “king” all night.  This One-Night Only performance is $35 per person for dinner and the show.

On Mondays, January 9^th & 23^rd, , we have the wonderful return of CAHLUA & CREAM.  Come and see this legendary duo at one of their only public venues.  It is a night of Broadway and Rock and Roll featuring the incomparable vocals of Leslie Hale.  Reservations are recommended.

The soulful BARRY NEWMAN will be playing on Thursday, January 5^th and Monday, January 30^th.

On Saturday nights, we have the music and comedy of BILLY BRIDGER on January 14^th and February 4^th.  And the GRUV MONSTERS will keep you dancing all night long on Saturday, January 28^th.

We’re also featuring our daily dinner special of TWO DINNERS and a BOTTLE of WINE for ONLY $29.95.  We have ALL-YOU-CAN EAT PRIME RIB on Saturday nights for ONLY $18.95.

      A notice in today’s Naples Daily News erroneously stated that Mongello’s has closed.  Please know that this is completely false and the paper made an error.  We are open for business and looking forward to serving you.  Our September entertainment schedule will be out later today.  We look forward to seeing everybody soon.

Our beloved Nick passed away early this morning.  The restaurant will be closed on Monday, February 8th.  Services will be held on Monday at Fuller Funeral Home (4735 Tamiami Trail East, 239-417-5000) from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 9:00 pm. 

The funeral will be on Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church (corner of 3rd St & 9th Ave. South) at 10:00 am.  A reception and memorial in his honor will follow at 2:00 pm at the Restaurant.

Nick and Marianne Mongello have left their business in New Jersey and have opened “Mongello’s Steak and Seafood, with an Italian Touch” (formerly KJ’S Restaurant and Lounge) at 4221 Tamiami Trail East in Naples Fl.

Nick, a trial attorney for 35 years in his own law firm, and Marianne, owner and CEO of “Tricat Imaging” with five multi-modality Radiological Imaging centers, decided to fulfill a dream and open a restaurant bringing upscale dining to the East Trail.

“Mongello’s Steak and Seafood, with an Italian touch” offers a variety of dishes including Steak, Seafood, and Italian specialties presented in an upscale atmosphere at reasonable prices and impeccable service.

“Happy Day” in the lounge and dining room is from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. There is also entertainment in the lounge every night with a special lounge menu.

There are dinner shows, in the dining room, every week providing a wonderful relaxing experience for parties of (2) to parties of (100).
