Our September Entertainment Schedule is Up!!!  Click on the link to the right for the full schedule.  Returning we have MYLES LOUD on Tuesday and Friday Nights, KARAOKE with Steve Smith on Wednesdays, WENDY RENEE on Thursdays and GREG & CLAUDIA on Saturdays.  Guitar genius NEVADA SMITH is headlining our Labor Day BBQ on Monday, the 6^th.  He also will be playing before Myles on Friday the 3^rd and the 24^th.  TONY PULERA will fill in for Wendy on September 16^th and the 30^th. 

We have some special events this month.  CAHLUA & CREAM return on Monday, September 20^th.  For this special “welcome back” engagement, tickets are only $5 per person.  We are having our annual LABOR DAY BBQ on Monday the 6^th.

Are your ready for some FOOTBALL?  MONGELLO’S reopens on SUNDAYS, starting with the September 12^th return of Football.  Watch your favorite team on one of our 13 big screens.  Games start at 1pm every Sunday. 

Don’t forget about the great dinner and lunch specials we are running all summer.  Two dinners for $19.95.  And buy one Lunch, get the 2^nd for ½ price.

I just noticed that we had inadvertently omitted Myles Loud from the last 3 Fridays of the Month.  Myles will be here every Friday and he will be joined by Nevada Smith on the 20th, 27th and September 3rd.  We can’t wait to see you all at Mongello’s!

Our beloved Nick passed away early this morning.  The restaurant will be closed on Monday, February 8th.  Services will be held on Monday at Fuller Funeral Home (4735 Tamiami Trail East, 239-417-5000) from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 9:00 pm. 

The funeral will be on Tuesday at St. Ann Catholic Church (corner of 3rd St & 9th Ave. South) at 10:00 am.  A reception and memorial in his honor will follow at 2:00 pm at the Restaurant.

Nick and Marianne Mongello have left their business in New Jersey and have opened “Mongello’s Steak and Seafood, with an Italian Touch” (formerly KJ’S Restaurant and Lounge) at 4221 Tamiami Trail East in Naples Fl.

Nick, a trial attorney for 35 years in his own law firm, and Marianne, owner and CEO of “Tricat Imaging” with five multi-modality Radiological Imaging centers, decided to fulfill a dream and open a restaurant bringing upscale dining to the East Trail.

“Mongello’s Steak and Seafood, with an Italian touch” offers a variety of dishes including Steak, Seafood, and Italian specialties presented in an upscale atmosphere at reasonable prices and impeccable service.

“Happy Day” in the lounge and dining room is from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. There is also entertainment in the lounge every night with a special lounge menu.

There are dinner shows, in the dining room, every week providing a wonderful relaxing experience for parties of (2) to parties of (100).
