Upscale Dining Comes to the East Trail
Nick and Marianne Mongello have left their business in New Jersey and have opened “Mongello’s Steak and Seafood, with an Italian Touch” (formerly KJ’S Restaurant and Lounge) at 4221 Tamiami Trail East in Naples Fl.
Nick, a trial attorney for 35 years in his own law firm, and Marianne, owner and CEO of “Tricat Imaging” with five multi-modality Radiological Imaging centers, decided to fulfill a dream and open a restaurant bringing upscale dining to the East Trail.
“Mongello’s Steak and Seafood, with an Italian touch” offers a variety of dishes including Steak, Seafood, and Italian specialties presented in an upscale atmosphere at reasonable prices and impeccable service.
“Happy Day” in the lounge and dining room is from 11 A.M. to 7 P.M. There is also entertainment in the lounge every night with a special lounge menu.
There are dinner shows, in the dining room, every week providing a wonderful relaxing experience for parties of (2) to parties of (100).

A fabulous time was had by myself and my neighbor, Helene, at your patron appreciation party last night! Everything was so well done and we felt so welcomed. I am very happy to have an establishment close by that I can watch some football and have a meal and a couple or three brewski’s at without having to trek up the trail. Congratulations on your lifelong dream. Shortly after our conversation I discovered that your Brother had passed away and sent a card with my condolences. I hope you have received it. On a lighter note, I just keep crossing your path. Recently, needing an xray, my Primary Physician had a card advertising TRICAT and to go there since my Insurance is accepted. It really is weird, tonite, just playing on the computer I typed in Marianne Mongello to see if the Restaurant you mentioned was “up and running” and it lead me to this link. Please say Hello to Mr. Mongello for me, thanks again for the phone call, it meant so much to me, and if I am ever in Naples, I will certainly stop by….

My husband and I recently moved to Naples and were lucky enough to find Mongello’s! We’ve only been in a couple times, but what a great atmosphere and your bartenders are so efficient and sweet. Can’t wait to bring my family in when they arrive from Wisconsin next week. Thanks again,
